The 2006 soccer season is just around the corner and the OSCA is gearing up for another exciting year. As you may know, this organization hosts the annual all-state games each summer and our annual business meeting and workshop is scheduled for January 27th.

Please take the time to read through this letter very carefully. Information for the 2006 All-State selections will be posted on the website later. As our bylaws state, the OSCA membership fee is $25.00 before February 1. After February 1st, coaches must pay $50.00 to become a member. This membership allows each coach to nominate and vote during the All-State selections.

The workshop registration of $40.00 allows entrance into the annual business meeting of OSCA. The cost of the room rental and breakfast for the business meeting, the coaching sessions and three additional meals are included in the workshop fee. (Lunch on Friday is on your own) Therefore, coaches attending the annual business meeting will be required to pay a total of $65.00. Registrations and membership dues will not be accepted at the rules meetings but will be accepted the day of the workshop. It is encouraged to save you and I time at the workshop; that you register in advance. Please do not wait until after the holidays to complete. Send in your registration to confirm your attendance before January 15, 2006. You should locate, complete and return the following four items from the website www.okhscoaches.com.

1. The workshop registration and the membership form under the forms link on the home page.

2. A check or submit the invoice (on the site under forms) to your school for a purchase order to OSCA for the appropriate amount: $65 for both registration and membership dues. (Note: If you are an assistant, the fee is only $40 to attend the business meeting and workshop.

3. Your coaching record form (on the site under forms) for review by the OSCA Awards Committee.

4. Mail your OSCA membership, workshop registration, coaching records and your check (or purchase order) to this address, Glenn Howard, OSCA Treasurer, 13206 S. Norfolk Ave., Jenks, OK 74037.
